DREAM SPACES & DESTINATIONS
Our homes and everyday spaces provide us with beauty and comfort throughout the year —
Yet when summer rolls around, we find ourselves dreaming of a vacation. There’s nothing like traveling to a foreign culture and landscape to truly spark gratitude and inspiration.
This started a conversation between our team about our favorite travel moments and places we love to visit. We’ve put together the list to share with you.

Happy Summer!!
Kyoto, Japan
“It is the most peaceful city I’ve ever experienced. The streets can be full, but everyone is quiet and respectful — you almost feel like you are walking alone.
One night we wandered into this tiny, tiny restaurant and the chef treated us to a private Omakase dinner. The culture is so kind & welcoming.”
Stowe, Vermont
“I loved the historical homes and foliage in the area.
My son, David, was over-the-moon to create a design at the Teddy Bear Factory!”
Bilbao, Spain
“I love the scale of Richard Serra’s Torqued Ellipses at the Guggenheim Museum.
The geometry and precision in building and installing were pure genius. The patina and natural variation in the metal was incredible.”
Machu Picchu, Peru
“I am amazed by the history and mysticism here — the architecture is so advanced. The Terraces were built into the mountain with drainage, soil fertility, and the possibility of erosion considered.
Structures were built with perfect astronomical alignment, and did so without using mortar.”
Santa Fe, New Mexico
“I love being in the mountains and Santa Fe is unique with everything else it has to offer next to nature.
There is great art, food & drink, opera and so many festivals to explore. Visiting here usually means I am with family or friends which makes it extra special.”
Belt Creek Ranch, Montana
“I love the vastness of the landscape, the quiet, and the adventure at every turn.”
