One objet: Yigal ozeri’s oil painting

Yigal Ozeri’s ‘Shely’, Oil on Canvas, 2024

We recently placed Yigal’s fantastic oil painting in our client’s dining room. As soon as we hung her on the wall, she was an instant fit. Its tones and presence felt made for the room — quiet, striking, and exactly right.

Why we’re drawn to it

  • New York City based Israeli artist Yigal Ozeri is best known for his large-scale cinematic painted portraits of distinctive women in rich prodigious landscapes.

  • With tinges of Pre-Raphaelite aesthetics, Ozeri brings an ethereal and uninhibited sensibility to his paintings. His portraits denote art historical foundations in romanticism, while also offering contemporary notions of sensual femininity.

A big thank you to our friends at ELLIO Fine Art.
