What this color means to us

Sunshine yellow is our guiding color and brand principle at Mann Design.

There is something naturally inviting about this shade of yellow. It’s bright, yet soft, and full of vitality. In designed spaces, it carries the warmth of natural light across oak floors, the optimism of fresh flowers in the kitchen, and the unexpectedness of an intentional paint choice.

Since the beginning, our logo has been an illustration of a yellow chair. It’s vibrant and abstract. Similar to how we approach design, it provides personality without overpowering.

When you walk into our Houston studio, moments of this sunshine yellow appear thoughtfully throughout. You’ll spot it in textiles, wallpaper, collected objects, and of course, the iconic yellow chair that inspired our logo all those years ago.

These details reflect the spirit behind our work: distinct, artistic, and welcoming.
