THE HOPE PROJECT

hope project art for all

The Hope Project x MannKind💛

The Hope Project, an initiative of Hope Stone, is dedicated to providing arts education through music, photography, theater, dance, sewing, mindfulness, and more.

We have been involved with Hope Stone for many years and I continue to serve as a board member.

Despite being a small nonprofit, we are a mighty force for good. The programs serve the Near Northside feeder pattern in Houston’s Second Ward, an area grappling with significant poverty. Hope Stone's services, including mindfulness initiatives, have transformed how Clemente Martinez Elementary School students learn to self-soothe and manage their emotions.

Each year, we provide dance, music, and theater classes to over 900 children at the cost of just $195 per child for a full year of arts education. Rice University followed our elementary school program to develop the program's metrics, and the results clearly demonstrated the critical role the arts play in a child's educational development.

Rather than host a luncheon or gala, we continue to opt for a direct community engagement campaign to raise support. Your contributions are fully tax-deductible and will directly benefit the program.

We only have 25 more students in need of sponsorship to reach our goal!

For a deeper understanding of our impact, please take a moment to watch this short video.

As always, with deep gratitude,
